This is where the caller name and number (CLI) show up and can be modified or added. With a click on the Dial icon a call is automatically initiated from your phone to the number shown. Non-numeric characters, such as spaces, brackets etc. are automatically stripped off before dialing or saving a number to the database and local area prefixes are automatically added in order to keep your number database consistent, allowing dialed numbers to be automatically matched with the incoming CLI format and to condition them for SIP dialing.
Phone numbers and names can be found very fast by entering either a substring or the starting characters or digits. The filtered results can be shown in ascending or descending order and the desired entry may be easily picked from this narrowed list. Because many people prefer a classical phone book list, we also offer an A-Z quick access bar.
The call detail list can be narrowed to your own calls with a single click, making it easy to update the database by giving names to telephone numbers not yet known. As soon as a telephone number is learned, this name will replace the number in all call detail lists and on all telephone displays.
